Docenta is in Beta and is offered to a small number of firms by invitation. The binding agreement is the one countersigned with your firm at onboarding. This page says what that agreement rests on so nothing in it arrives as a surprise.
Docenta prepares work. It does not file, and it does not decide a material position on a return. Every deliverable it produces enters the same review chain as staff-prepared work and is signed by a person at your firm. Where the product records what a document says without a reviewer, it does so only for a value it can cite to a transcribed cell, and never over a conflict with what is already on file.
Professional responsibility for the work remains with the firm. Nothing in the product substitutes for the judgment of the licensed professional signing the return, and it is not designed or sold as though it does.
Usage is metered in Work Units: a document read and structured, a request cycle run, a workpaper package assembled. Never seats, and never tokens. Beta pricing is set per firm during onboarding and is stated in writing before any work is billed.
Beta means the product is changing. Features listed as in progress on the front page are not commitments to a date, and we will tell you before anything you depend on changes underneath you.
Service levels, liability, termination and the return of your data on termination are set out in the agreement. Ask for the current version before you commit to anything.
